Your passport is a valuable document. It should always be either in your own custody or in the custody of a person duly authorized by you. If lost or destroyed, please report to the local police authority immediately with the fact and circumstances and then to the Bangladesh High Commission. PLEASE KEEP A PHOTOCOPY
OF YOUR PASSPORT IN A SAFE PLACE. ISSUANCE OF A DUPLICATE PASSPORT
MAY BE DELAYED WITHOUT THESE DETAILS. |

Applications for all visas/passports/consular services (Like issue of new/duplicate passports, renewals and miscellaneous services on passports, legalization/attestation of documents) are accepted between 10:00am to 12:30pm and 3:30pm to 4:30pm. Working Days: Monday through Thursday and Saturday |

For new passport: B$190.00 for normal processing. For passport renewal: B$ 38.00 per year (normal processing) and B$ 57.00 per year (urgent processing). Visa fee: Depends on the passport holder's citizenship.

1-2 days for New Passports(Urgent), 5-7 days for New Passport(Normal), 5-7 days for Renewal of Passport, 2-3 days for VISA. Attestation are done on the day of Submission. The High Commission will
get in touch with applicants in cases where the applications are incomplete/incorrect,
the fees sent are not adequate or not paid in the acceptable manner
or where there are other deficiencies. |
