Official Launching of Web Site: The Mission launched its Web Site on the 26th March 2008 by His Excellency, the High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Brunei Darussalam, Mr. Md Hedayetul Islam Chowdhury. The High Commissioner spoke during the event high lighting the necessity of the Web Site in today's information age. The The First Secretary and Head of Chancery, Mr. A. S. M. Waheeduzzaman, also echoed the same view and hoped that it would facilitate in providing better services by the Mission.

The Web Site was designed and developed by one of the members of Bangladesh community in Brunei Darussalam, Mr. Manzur Ahmed.

37th Anniversary of Independence and National Day Celebration:
The High Commission of Bangladesh in Brunei Darussalam celebrated the 37th Anniversary of Independence and National Day of Bangladesh in the evening at a local hotel. The function was graced by the Honorable Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Brunei Darussalam, Pehin Dato Awang Haji Mohammad bin Haji Daud, as chief guest. It was also attended by the High Commissioners/Ambassadors of various diplomatic missions, members of Bangladesh community and invited guests.
